Jenner told John Catsimatidis on his “CATS Roundtable” New York radio show on Sunday, that she is working with activist groups to improve the Republican Party’s stance on lesbian, gay and transgender issues.According to Caitlyn Jenner, she has “considered” a senatorial run because she “likes the political side of it”.”Over the next six months or so, I’ve gotta find out where I can do a better job”.She was speaking on a show on U.S. radio station AM 970 and said that she is working with activist groups to improve the Republican Party’s stance on lesbian, gay and transgender issues.Jenner, a lifelong Republican, would next be eligible to run for state Senate in 2018.It’s been about three months since the last time Jenner mentioned anything about a political position.Jenner, a lifelong Republican, supported President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.In the interview, she said she had plans to meet with Nikki Haley, the United States’ ambassador to the United Nations, to discuss the global ramifications for being involved with the LGBTQ community.Since her highly publicized male-to-female gender transition, Caitlyn Jenner has become a hugely outspoken and high-profile advocate for the LGBTQ community.”He did a lot of very, very good things and it’s not like I just want to throw that away”, she added.
