Noor quick movie review: Sonakshi Sinha is endearing as a journo 

Sonakshi Sinha returns to the big screen with Noor after Force 2. The film is based on Saba Imtiaz’s novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! and follows a Pakistani journalist-writer Noor’s misadventures and love life as she navigates her way through Mumbai. The trailer and the songs of the film have been liked by the audience. Will Noor give Sonakshi the much needed hit at the box office? Our critic Rashma Shetty Bali is watching the film at a multiplex right now and has sent us her first impressions of the film. 

 

Talking about Noor, Rashma says “The success of an actor lies in getting a reaction from the audience. And Sonakshi Sinha as the goofy reporter in Noor manages to do just that. The story of Noor revolves around a junior reporter who’s striving to do some serious work. However, her editor Shekhar thinks otherwise. Frustrated with her jobNoor calls it quits. Impatient and too soon to prove her point, Noor ends up missing a chance to impress Ayanka Banerjee , a senior photojournalist. However, Ayan is smitten by Noor’s honesty. Noor also has some good wingmen in Zaara and Saad .
